The Georgia & Nolan Payton Archive of Sacred Musicconsists of music, books, periodicals, documents, audio & visual materials, and oral histories. The primary goal of the Archive is to facilitate research and documentation of collections of African Diaspora sacred music (church music and religious concert music) created and/or performed by the multicultural population of Southern California.

A Celebration of the Musical Masters of African Diaspora Sacred Music will feature the Living Legends Festival Choir With Dr. Andre Thomas, (Composer, conductor, author, Owen F. Sellers Professor of Music, Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Choral Music Education at The Florida State University).
Including is a Celebration of the Music of JESTER HAIRSTON (Dr. Albert McNeil, Dr. Gwendolyn Wyatt, Byron Smith and Danellen Joseph, conducting), with voices from the El Camino Choir (Dr. Joanna Nachef, director); CSU Dominguez Hills Jubilee Choir (Dr. Hansonia Caldwell, director); CSU Dominguez Hills Chamber Singers (Dr. Sally Etcheto, director); The Gwen Wyatt Chorale (Dr. Gwen Wyatt, director); The Delta Choraliers and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Chorus; The Cathedral Choir and The Chorale of the Cathedral, of Our Lady of the Angels (Mr. Frank Brownstead, director); and numerous other community choirs.
